We are currently seeking an experienced Finishing / Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a new build residential development in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all finishing trades, ensuring high-quality standards are achieved, coordinating subcontractors, and driving plots through to completion and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused Site Manager with strong residential experience to join a busy project with an established contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day finishing activities on site
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
  • Ensure all plots are completed to a high standard
  • Oversee snagging and de-snagging works
  • Maintain site health & safety standards
  • Monitor programme deadlines and drive project completion
  • Conduct quality inspections and customer walkthroughs
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with NHBC standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or Site Manager on new build residential projects
  • Strong eye for detail and quality control
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working on volume housing developments preferred
