An established construction business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong construction-sector expertise to provide robust financial and commercial control. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with in-depth knowledge of CIS, VAT, and construction-specific compliance, who can support day-to-day finance operations while contributing to wider business performance.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full finance function within a construction environment. You will oversee payroll, invoicing, cash flow, subcontractor payments, and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial information to support decision-making. You will work closely with operational and senior management teams to provide financial insight and maintain strong control across projects and business activities.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations within a construction business
- Oversee CIS administration, including subcontractor verification, deductions, and monthly returns
- Manage VAT reporting, including preparation and submission of returns
- Oversee payroll processes, including construction payroll requirements
