We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Mechanical bias to join our delivery team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of either one large-scale MEP project or multiple smaller projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery to a high standard.
While the role is primarily mechanically focused, a good understanding of electrical systems is essential to effectively coordinate all aspects of building services installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of mechanical packages (HVAC, public health, pipework systems, etc.) on a variety of commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments
- Coordinate with electrical teams to ensure integrated MEP delivery
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, programme, and cost control
- Attend and lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Monitor and manage project programmes, resources, and budgets
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current regulations and company HSEQ policies
- Prepare and review RAMS, progress reports, and handover documentation
- Provide technical input and problem-solving during installation and commissioning phases
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MEP or Mechanical Project Manager, ideally on London-based projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with practical understanding of electrical services
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously or take the lead on a major scheme
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certified (preferred)
- HND/HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence
