Mechanical Estimator Location: North East England Office Based Salary: 50,000 55,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join an established and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation and winning of profitable mechanical projects, acting as a key point of contact between the business and clients professional teams throughout the tendering process. You will play an important role in understanding tender requirements, preparing accurate estimates and ensuring all relevant information is clearly communicated to the wider bid team. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive mechanical estimates and tenders. Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and schedules. Establish and communicate tender requirements to the wider bid team. Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Carry out quantity take-offs and pricing. Identify commercial opportunities and potential risks within tenders.
