An established residential contractor is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support its growing commercial team across a portfolio of residential developments throughout Liverpool and Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working on new build and refurbishment projects.
The Role
- Assist with the commercial management of multiple residential projects.
- Support subcontractor procurement and tendering.
- Prepare valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Help manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
- Assist with final accounts and project financial reporting.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors.
Requirements
- 2-3 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
- Residential construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
