An established residential contractor is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support its growing commercial team across a portfolio of residential developments throughout Liverpool and Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working on new build and refurbishment projects.

The Role

  • Assist with the commercial management of multiple residential projects.
  • Support subcontractor procurement and tendering.
  • Prepare valuations, variations and cost reports.
  • Help manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
  • Assist with final accounts and project financial reporting.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Residential construction experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts.
  • Strong numerical and communication skills.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
