Quantity Surveyor (Cost Control & Estimation)

Location: Office-based, next to Heathrow

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a brand‐new role. This is the first time the business has appointed a QS, so the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping commercial processes and adding real value from day one.

The RoleYou will be responsible for cost control, estimating, and commercial management across a range of projects. The business delivers multi‐disciplined works, including fit‐out, so versatility and hands‐on experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Cost control and financial management of projects

Preparing estimates, budgets, and cost plans

Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts

Working extensively under NEC contracts

Providing commercial advice and reporting to senior management

Supporting projects from pre‐construction through to completion

Essential Requirements

In‐depth knowledge and proven experience with NEC contracts (non‐negotiable)

Strong background in cost control and estimation

Experience working on fit‐out projects

Multi‐disciplined QS experience preferred

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role

Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
