About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in shopfitting and retail fit‑out projects to join our growing team based in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and hands‑on professional who can oversee multiple projects from pre‑start through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage nationwide retail and commercial fit‑out projects, working closely with clients, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple shopfitting and interior fit‑out projects simultaneously
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with H&S regulations
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Support procurement and cost control activities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the shopfitting or retail fit‑out sector
- Strong understanding of fast‑track retail refurbishment projects
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple live projects across the UK
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
