They pride themselves on safety, quality, efficiency and reliability. All staff are trained to industry standards (CSCS, CPCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, NPORS) and the company maintains a strong reputation with major nationwide developers.

The Role - Contracts Manager Groundworks

You’ll take charge of multiple groundworks projects from start to finish, managing teams, budgets and client expectations while ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time and to specification. You’ll spend part of the week visiting sites and the rest in the office, ensuring smooth delivery and communication across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage several groundworks sites across commercial and residential sectors
  • Oversee budgets, programmes and client liaison
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety and cost objectives
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
  • Coordinate site teams and subcontractors
  • Work closely with operations and finance teams
  • Prepare and review project documentation and reports
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships
  • Support continuous improvement and company growth

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of groundworks
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Very computer literate
  • Willing to travel to sites
  • Full UK driving licence
