An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential and commercial projects. A background in heritage or restoration is preferred but not essential. This is a varied role suited to a commercially aware and organised professional who is comfortable managing several live sites and maintaining strong client and site team relationships.

The Role

  • Manage up to 10 concurrent projects across residential and commercial sectors.
  • Oversee delivery from pre-start through to completion.
  • Regular site visits (approximately 3 days per week on the road) with 2 days office-based.
  • Coordinate site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor programme, quality, health & safety, and budgets.
  • Handle variations, valuations, and cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction.
  • Background in heritage or restoration works desirable but not essential.
  • Experience delivering residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commercially astute with good contractual knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence.
