We are a well-established demolition contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North East and wider UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven background in demolition projects to join our Newcastle-based team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple demolition contracts from pre-start through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple demolition projects concurrently
- Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations, HSE standards, and company procedures
- Preparing and managing programmes, budgets, and cost reports
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, consultants, and internal teams
- Reviewing RAMS, method statements, and demolition sequencing
- Monitoring progress and resolving technical or commercial issues
- Attending site and client meetings as required
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager) within the demolition sector
- Strong knowledge of demolition methods, temporary works, and engineering principles
