Job Title: Construction Designer Reporting to: Project Director A well-established furniture manufacturer specializing in custom-made furniture and architectural joinery is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Designer. This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the industry’s market leaders, offering a stimulating and challenging environment for personal and professional growth. Responsibilities: * Assess site measurements at the concept stage. * Develop designs that align with client expectations, ensuring both performance and budget requirements are met. * Identify variations from initial project briefs and communicate necessary adjustments. * Prepare detailed handover documentation for follow-on departments. * Maintain clear and professional communication with both clients and colleagues. Requirements: * Strong understanding of furniture and internal joinery construction techniques. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel. * Experience with a 3D design package is an advantage. * High standard of written and spoken English. * Flexibility and adaptability to meet project demands. Position Details: * Full-time role, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as required). * Competitive salary based on experience. * 28 days annual leave (including 8 statutory holidays). * Office-based role near Rugby.
