We are recruiting for an experienced Preconstruction Director to join a growing business based in Castleford. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, with proven experience leading and managing the preconstruction function from tender stage through to project handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the preconstruction process across multiple civils and groundwork projects
- Managing tender strategy, planning, and bid coordination
- Overseeing programme development and project feasibility
- Working closely with estimating, commercial, and operational teams
- Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
- Supporting successful project delivery through effective preconstruction planning
- Managing client relationships during bid and negotiation stages
Requirements
