An established commercial design and build contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. You'll play a key role in managing the commercial performance of construction and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
- Price and manage variations and change control.
- Procure and commercially manage subcontractors.
- Monitor project performance and protect margins.
- Produce accurate commercial reports and CVRs.
- Work closely with project, procurement and finance teams.
Requirements
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, commercial fit-out or interiors.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Good understanding of UK construction contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting systems.
