Procurement:
- Providing a comprehensive procurement service for all projects in the regional operating unit.
- Deliver a consistent procurement approach across all projects within the regional operating unit from work winning / pre-construction stage.
- Demonstrate most advantageous tender in the procurement recommendations.
- Ensure a robust negotiation process is applied in the engagement process.
- Ensure contract arrangements and package details are comprehensive and protect the business in its dealings with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Contribution to leverage at every opportunity.
- Ensure decisions are not focused upon lowest price but overall best value for money.
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop an accredited and structured supply chain that is aligned to the regional operating unit demand and overall Murphy strategy.
- Consistently monitor the marketplace to ensure awareness of pricing trends, risks and opportunities.
- Continuously seek out and assess new supply chain members to meet regional operating unit project demand.
- Monitor the supply chain performance, workload and financial status to protect the corporate position.
- Develop the supply chain, products and innovations that bring cost and/or buildability benefits.
Benefits:
