Business Development Manager – Temporary Site Electrics 📍 Location: London (with travel as required) 💰 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission 📅 Full-Time | Permanent Are you a commercially savvy professional with a background in the construction supply chain and a passion for growing client relationships? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our expanding team, helping us power the UK’s top construction sites. About Us: We’re a leading provider of temporary site electrics, supporting major construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. From site setup to decommissioning, we deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable electrical solutions – fast. The Role: As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships. You’ll work closely with our operations and project teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within the construction sector. * Leverage existing relationships and build new connections within Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors. * Develop tailored proposals and present service offerings to prospective clients. * Work closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded. * Track sales metrics, report on pipeline activity, and meet/exceed growth targets. What We’re Looking For: * Proven business development or sales experience in the construction supply chain. * Knowledge of temporary electrics or broader electrical systems is highly desirable. * Strong existing contacts within Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction contractors. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
