Lift / Elevator Engineer Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas Salary: £40,000–£50,000 + Overtime + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lift / Elevator Engineer to join an established and growing lift engineering business, covering Bristol and the surrounding South West area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a long-term position with a strong pipeline of work, regular service routes and excellent earning potential. The Role You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of passenger, goods and service lifts across commercial, residential and other client sites. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing * Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults * Complete reactive repairs and breakdown call-outs * Carry out minor modernisation and component replacement works * Maintain accurate service records and electronic job sheets * Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard * Participate in an out-of-hours / standby rota About You We are looking for an experienced Lift Engineer with: * NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent * Previous experience within lift servicing, maintenance, repair or installation * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * Experience working across a range of lift equipment and manufacturers * Full UK driving licence * Good communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own service route Package * £40,000–£50,000 basic salary, depending on experience * Overtime available * Standby / call-out payments * Door-to-door pay * Company vehicle / van * Company phone and tablet * 25+ days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension * Ongoing training and development * Long-term career progression If you're an experienced Lift Engineer based in Bristol or the surrounding area and are looking for a secure, well-paid position with a reputable employer, we'd like to hear from you.
