Duties will include:
- Overseeing tenders.
- Overseeing Contracts Managers & Operation Co-ordinators.
- The Contracts managers will run the day to day works with the roofers, and liaise with Ops coordinators for orders etc.
- Planning labour and materials with contracts managers and ensuring that all sites are adequately resourced.
- Securing material prices through merchants.
- Managing stock.
- Attending pre-start meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, and main contractors, attending meetings and providing project updates.
- Checking and signing off RAMS for each site.
- Work with commercial team to monitor budgets, track variations, and manage turnover to maximise profitability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (such as CSCS/SSSTS standards in the UK), including risk assessments and site audits.
Requirements:
- Significant hands-on experience within the roofing sector (new build and reroofing social housing contracts).
- Experience with solar installs – Preferred but not essential.
- SMSTS or SSSTS minimum.
- Strong capability in reading drawings, producing quotes, and working to financial budgets.
- Proven ability to manage site teams and lead operational delivery across several locations.
- A good Health and Safety record.
