A growing and well-established construction contractor based in North London is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of its residential projects across North and Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant QS with at least 2 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a successful business specialising in high-end residential refurbishment.

- Typical project values range from £400,000 to £1 million.
- Managing approximately 4–5 live projects simultaneously.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the commercial management of multiple residential projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cost management and project budgeting.
- Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Subcontractor procurement and account management.
- Supporting monthly applications and final accounts.
- Monitoring project costs and commercial performance.
- Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Previous experience within the construction industry.
- Residential refurbishment experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong numerical and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop within a growing business.

- £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
