About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering office and laboratory fit-out projects across Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career while working on a varied portfolio of high-quality interior refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning and procurement.
- Prepare subcontract packages and tender documentation.
- Manage valuations and variations.
- Support monthly cost reporting.
- Assist with final accounts.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Contracts Managers.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
- Experience within construction or fit-out.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying preferred.
- Experience on CAT A/CAT B fit-out projects desirable.
- Laboratory project experience beneficial.
- Strong numerical and commercial awareness.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
