Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out projects. You will work closely with clients, designers, and the delivery team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client presentations
- Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams
- Maintain and update cost databases and pricing benchmarks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out/interiors sector
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or similar (preferred)
