Company Overview: We are a well-established and growing fit-out contractor based in London, delivering high-quality commercial interior projects across sectors including office, retail, and hospitality. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out projects. You will work closely with clients, designers, and the delivery team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation
  • Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams
  • Maintain and update cost databases and pricing benchmarks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out/interiors sector
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
  • Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or similar (preferred)
