Lead the People Strategy for a High‑Growth, Project‑Led Business. Henlee Resourcing is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and fast‑growing organisation operating within a complex, project‑led environment. Following the recent award of several major long‑term UK contracts, the business is entering an exciting and significant phase of expansion, with plans to grow from circa 150 to 500 employees over the next three years. To support this growth, the organisation is seeking to appoint a UK Head of HR with full ownership of the people function. This pivotal role combines strategic influence at board level, with hands‑on operational delivery and will play a central role in shaping the organisation's people agenda as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the overall people strategy aligned to business growth plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team and board
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning, and capability development
  • Drive initiatives across talent, performance, engagement, and learning
  • Oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance
  • Manage complex and sensitive ER cases with confidence and sound judgment
  • Lead organisational change and transformation initiatives
  • Develop reward, governance, and HR best practice frameworks
  • Collaborate with a global parent organisation on international HR initiatives

You will bring significant experience operating in a senior HR leadership role, within a multi‑site, operational environment and a proven track record of supporting organisational growth, transformation, and workforce scaling. Commercially minded and pragmatic, you will take a hands‑on approach to HR delivery and feel comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, often ambiguous environment with competing priorities. A strong understanding of UK employment law, compliance, and HR best practice is essential. CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) is preferred.

This is a fantastic opportunity within a growing and ambitious business. If you are looking for a broad, high‑impact role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational delivery, we would love to hear from you.

N.B. First interviews are scheduled 2nd & 4th June 2026. Therefore, early applications are advised!
