Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche outsourcing Business with its HQ in Chippenham, to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner for an initial 10 month period to cover for maternity, starting ASAP. The role is full time; however hybrid working is offered as is a condensed 9 day fortnight. Reporting to a developmental Head of HR and working in and supported by a small team, you will partner with leaders / managers and employees across the business regarding employee relations, policies and procedures as well as new ways of working.
About the role:
- Serve as a partner and consultant to leaders and employees on employee relations matters, including attendance at formal investigation and disciplinary meetings, taking notes (where appropriate) and producing any outcome letters.
- Provide support to business leaders surrounding the performance management process.
- Collaborate with the global HR centres of excellence to facilitate requests from the business, to include the creation of job profiles, compensation analysis, providing high-level benefits information, Workday support and recruitment inquiries.
- Utilise Workday for the full recruitment cycle, encompassing the creation of job adverts, through to issuing of contracts and offer letters and support leaders with the appropriate selection and assessment process, to include interviewing.
- Analyse exit interview data and review with leaders to support an environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Support the organisation to ensure proper workforce planning and alignment of roles and responsibilities.
- Serve as a consultative partner when appropriate to both employees and leadership.
- Hold regular check-ins with business leaders and individual contributors to provide guidance and support, while also continuing to build and maintain the relationship.
- Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures and provision, in collaboration with L&D of associated management training and guidance.
About you:
- Proven experience in a HR generalist role which includes providing expert advice and dealing with matters in a timely manner.
- Ideally degree educated with CIPD Level 5 although qualification by experience will also be acceptable.
- Comfortable creating a solid customer experience with every interaction.
- Results driven with the ability to take initiative and work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Confident working independently and autonomously when providing advice with a resilient and flexible approach.
- System orientated and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to travel to the site in Birmingham on an adhoc basis to provide support / once every quarter for team meetings.
