Henlee Resourcing has been retained by a well-known European sales and logistics company to search for their first Head of Learning / Learning Academy based in Manchester. This is a superb opportunity with a focus on building both the employees and the business to achieve their full potential.

Based from the Manchester site (with hybrid working - c.60% site / 40% home) and occasional travel to the UK HQ in Wiltshire, this role will see you take full ownership of the learning lifecycle, covering all technical, sales, service as well as soft, management and leadership development for the UK. This is a true end-to-end role with the added bonus of being at the very start of the opening of a brand new learning facility.

Reporting to a future-thinking People Director and managing a team of 5, you will own and drive the learning and development strategy for the UK business. We are searching for someone who can understand and interpret the strategic and operational business needs, resulting in training and learning development initiatives, and influence others to realise that vision.

You and your team will identify, create, facilitate and deliver modules both in-house as well as using third-party suppliers, to meet people and operational requirements in line with superb company values and objectives. You will bring passion and external best practice to ensure learning aligns with modern learning methodology.
