This is a full-time, on-site or hybrid role located at our office in Bristol, UK. As an Immigration Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload of immigration matters, including visa applications, permanent residency, deportation defense, and citizenship processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal consultation
- Preparing and filing legal documents
- Representing clients before legal authorities
- Staying updated on immigration laws and changes in regulations
- Managing client relationships
- Delivering high-quality legal advice
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Immigration Law, including visa applications, asylum cases, and permanent residency processes
- Exceptional legal research skills and the ability to interpret and apply immigration legislation and policies
- Proficiency in drafting and filing legal documents, and experience in reviewing client documentation for legal compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for consultations and advocacy
- Strong organizational and case management abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proven ability to stay updated with immigration law developments and policy changes
- Member of the Law Society or equivalent professional body
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification; additional qualifications in immigration law are a plus
- Experience working in a high-pressure legal environment, demonstrating a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for diverse clients
- Ideally you should be registered with the IAA at Level 3
