About this Position
An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead one of our dynamic Field Sales Teams at Schwarzkopf Professional, a globally recognised brand at the forefront of innovation in the professional salon industry. As a Sales Area Manager, you will take on line management responsibility for a team of Sales Representatives, driving the execution of the company’s sales strategy across your designated geographic region.
Reporting directly to the National Field Sales Manager, you will be accountable for achieving and exceeding company sales targets, while fostering strong customer relationships with salon professionals. This is a field-based leadership role, where your expertise and influence will play a key part in shaping the performance of your team and contributing to the wider success of the field sales function.

What you´ll do
- Perform in-the-field coaching / training of Sales Representatives
- Develops strategy and action plan for specific area of responsibility and tracks and directs store/street call activities
- Establishes and maintains strong commercial relations with major accounts
- Lead the assigned sales area in order to achieve the company targets and the agreed set of KPIs in order to grow the business and increase market share
- Attending ad hoc trade events / exhibitions
- Enforce a multi brand sales strategy based on market demand, trade structure and competitive environment
- Establish long-term client relationships with value-adding proposals
- Communicates and aligns with other departments, coordinates tasks between key interfaces, ensures administrative tasks fulfilment
- Regular attendance and contributions of sales meetings in the field
- Your role will cover key locations including Gloucester (GL), Cheltenham (CF), Birmingham (B), Telford (TA), Exeter (EX), Bath (BA), Salisbury (SY), Leamington Spa (LE), and more.
