About this Position
We are looking for a Head of Professional Salon, UKI to lead our Professional Salon business across the UKI market.
This is a senior commercial leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for driving profitable growth across independent salons, salon groups, professional wholesale, cash & carry and distributors.
You will bring our direct and indirect routes to market together into a connected commercial model, driving customer acquisition, account development, sell-out and market share growth.
What you´ll do
- Define and deliver the UKI Professional Salon commercial strategy, with full accountability for sales, profitability and growth.
- Lead and integrate our direct and indirect channels, ensuring customers receive a consistent and effective commercial experience.
- Lead and develop our sales and wholesale teams, building a high-performance, accountable commercial culture.
- Drive customer acquisition, share of wallet and sell-out growth through effective segmentation, territory planning and account management.
- Lead strategic customer relationships, including Joint Business Planning, pricing, promotions and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure strong commercial execution across launches, promotions, customer engagement and brand activation.
- Use data and insight to identify growth opportunities, optimise resources and improve commercial performance.
- Work closely with Brand & Advocacy, BI & Revenue, Supply Chain and Finance to align commercial priorities and maximise business impact.
- Build future commercial capability through coaching, talent development and succession planning.
What makes you a good fit
- Significant senior leadership experience in sales or commercial roles, ideally within professional beauty, FMCG or a similar industry.
- A proven track record of delivering profitable growth across multiple sales channels.
- Experience leading both direct and indirect routes to market.
- Strong P&L ownership, financial acumen and commercial decision-making skills.
- Experience leading and developing multi-layer commercial teams.
- Strong customer management, negotiation and sales capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional influencing skills.
- A data-driven, performance-focused approach with a strong focus on execution.
- Strong coaching and leadership capability, with a track record of developing talent.
