About this Position
Henkel Consumer Brands HCB hold leading market positions worldwide and its Brand name product business is continuously developing. Operating within both Retail and Professional Industries, our Brands and products are used widely every day. Customer Supply Chain is responsible for the availability of products as well as the flow of goods, from our Local 3PL warehouses to the delivery at our customers. The primary objective of the three Supply Chain units for Henkel Consumer Brands, namely Demand Planning, Customer Excellence, and Logistics, is to satisfy our customers by the highest possible service level and on-time deliveries. We are looking for three apprentices to join our Supply Chain team in a rotational capacity.
You will embark on 3 functions in rotation:
- Customer Excellence: Work in close collaboration with our customers & Sales Team regarding KPI-review, process optimization, and steering of projects.
- Logistics: Work as an integral member of the logistics team. Gain experience in both mainstream FMCG logistics (Henkel Consumer Business HCB) and Direct to Consumer/Business parcel network operations (Schwarzkopf Professional). Contribute to the achievement of cost and service targets.
- Demand Planning: Work as an integral part of the Demand planning team, reporting to the Project Implementation Manager. Get comprehensive experience in managing downstream supply chain projects and closely collaborate with commercial as well as upstream supply chain operations.
The chosen candidate will gain experience in several systems like SAP, APO DP, PowerBI, and MS Office.
What you’ll do:
- Customer complaints & claims management: customer interaction and ad-hoc analysis during inbound emails; monitoring cases managed in GBS+ (Shared Service Centre).
- Be the customer’s counterpart for solving and negotiating any operational topic/issue related to orders (delays, incidents, returns, prices, invoices, etc.).
- Help drive improvements in the team’s performance.
- Accurate allocation of error reason codes.
- Using analysis and insight, highlight key trends and possible improvements.
- Work within company practice/guidelines and compliance.
- Integration within a collaborative team with passion & experience.
- Opportunity to work independently while provided with the necessary team support.
- Logistics: Electronic Data Interface (EDI) management; Monitoring/Reporting on Key Supply Chain Metrics; SKP Professional: Returns Management / Urgent shipment coordination.
- Demand Planning: Support in Demand reviews – PowerBI/MS Office; Out of stock report management; Supporting Project Implementation Manager in all the steps of the project; Managing product lifecycle in SAP.
