Our 18-month Graduate Program starts on October 1st, 2025 at our Henkel Adhesive Technologies Innovation Center in Düsseldorf. You will be part of an exciting development journey, receiving a permanent contract from day one, relocation support, and hands-on experience across various innovative technologies. Upon completion, you will have the opportunity to transition into global roles within Henkel’s innovation network.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the development of adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings that address diverse customer needs as part of our product development team in Düsseldorf, Germany.
  • Design and carry out lab-based and data-driven experiments to create innovative formulations using advanced digital tools and data platforms.
  • Analyze experimental data to uncover trends, correlations, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive formulation success.
  • Build and apply statistical models to predict performance outcomes based on formulation composition and processing parameters.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to ensure formulations are scalable and ready for real-world manufacturing.
  • Take an active role in rotation projects, ranging from lab work to customer and business-related tasks, shaping future trends in digitalization, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Support the digital transformation of R&D by implementing data-based workflows that enhance formulation development and knowledge sharing.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • You have recently completed, or are about to complete, a Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or similar chemistry-focused studies.
  • You bring practical lab experience through internships, academic research, or industry-related projects during your studies.
  • You are proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and design of experiment tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP), and ideally, you have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of advanced technologies such as IoT, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
  • You are interested in growing your career within Henkel’s global innovation network, with relocation as a possible path after the program.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, as you will work in an international environment.
