Role Overview
We are looking for a structured and hands-on Stock Control & Quality Coordinator to oversee stock accuracy, quality control, and operational workflows across the UK and India. This role is focused on control, coordination, and process ownership — not doing everything, but ensuring everything is done properly, on time, and to standard. You will work closely with Dispatch, Buying, and the India team to bring visibility, structure, and accountability to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Control & Inventory Oversight
- Oversee stock accuracy and movement across UK and India
- Ensure all stock is properly tracked, organised, and traceable
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure QC processes are followed for diamonds and jewellery
- Supervise QC execution in India
- Maintain consistency and standards across teams
- Coordinate daily operational workflows (stock, shipments, returns)
- Ensure priorities are clear and tasks are completed on time
- Act as a central point of coordination between teams
- Work closely with India team to ensure stock checks and QC are done properly
- Ensure reporting is consistent and issues are escalated quickly
- Oversee supplier returns and ensure processes are followed
- Ensure shipments are properly checked and compliant
- Maintain clear processes and improve where needed
- Track key operational KPIs (errors, delays, stock accuracy)
- Support implementation of Zoho and future systems
