About the Placement
This internship is a learning and job-discovery opportunity designed for individuals who want to gain exposure to marketing and social media within the jewellery and diamond industry. The role is non-contractual and observational, aimed at helping the intern understand how a marketing department operates in a real business environment. The intern will primarily observe, shadow, and learn, rather than carry out productive work. What You Will Learn & Observe
- How B2B marketing operates within the jewellery and luxury sector
- How content ideas are developed for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Channels, and Email Newsletters
- The process behind short-form video creation (Reels, Shorts), from concept to publishing
- How brand tone, visual identity, and professional messaging are maintained
- How content calendars are planned and organised
- Basic understanding of social media performance metrics and reporting
- Day-to-day workflows of a Marketing Executive and cross-team collaboration
Learning Activities
- Shadow the Marketing Executive during day-to-day tasks
- Observe content planning meetings and campaign discussions
- Practice content editing or design for learning purposes only (not published or used commercially)
- Review past marketing campaigns to understand performance and outcomes
- Ask questions and receive guidance to build marketing knowledge
