We are seeking a disciplined and proficient Video Editor to manage the post-production lifecycle across our documentary, social, and podcast platforms. This role requires an individual who can balance high-volume output with meticulous aesthetic standards.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to translate scholarly themes into engaging visual narratives for a global digital audience. This is a full-time role, based in our post-production edit house in Soho.
- Multimodal Editing: Execute end-to-end post-production for short-form documentaries, multi-camera podcasts, and optimised social media assets.
- Visual Research & Continuity: Source and curate archival imagery and footage, ensuring historical accuracy and high-resolution standards across all projects. Maintain a rapid workflow without compromising quality.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all video output aligns with our organisation's editorial voice, maintaining a sophisticated and factual tone.
- Asset Management: Oversee the organisation of large-scale media libraries and project files to ensure a seamless, collaborative production environment.
- Professional Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of experience in a professional video editing role (agency, media house, or in-house creative team). A proven track record of delivering quality long-form content (films/documentaries) and high-performance social media assets.
- Education: A degree in Film Production, Media, or Art History is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
- Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop) or DaVinci Resolve.
- Aesthetic Judgment: A refined eye for typography, layout, and pacing, specifically within the context of fine art and historical media.
- Audio Engineering: Proficiency in podcast post-production, including noise reduction, leveling, and narrative-driven sound design.
