HENI is retained on a confidential basis by a luxury retail brand, spanning fashion and accessories, to identify an exceptional Retail Manager to lead their central London boutique. This is an opportunity to take full operational ownership of a prestigious store environment, setting the standard for service, structure, and presentation.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the client directly, the Retail Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the boutique, ensuring the highest standards of operational and commercial performance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on process, structure, and precision. The brand is ambitious and as such, this is an opportunity to become a fundamental and pivotal part of their growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take full operational ownership of the boutique, ensuring the shop runs smoothly and to the highest standard at all times.
  • Implement clear processes and structure across all areas of store operations, from opening and closing procedures to stock and visual merchandising standards.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a small team of sales assistants, with the authority to set expectations and manage performance.
  • Plan and manage the staff rota, ensuring the shop is appropriately manned at all times, including peak trading periods.
  • Oversee the logistics of the shop, including stock deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy, ensuring a seamless and well-organised environment.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail across presentation, product placement, and client-facing standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, responding promptly and professionally to all communications.
  • Ensure exceptional client service is delivered consistently, upholding the brand's reputation for excellence.

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a retail management role, ideally within luxury fashion, accessories, or a comparable premium retail environment.
  • A proven track record of implementing operational processes and structure within a retail setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and rostering a small team.
  • Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail and a genuine pride in operational excellence.
  • Highly responsive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing shop logistics end-to-end, from stock to staffing.
  • A polished, professional manner befitting a luxury retail environment.
  • Discreet, reliable, and comfortable working closely with a private client.

HOURS & PACKAGE

  • Full time, 5 days per week, with the flexibility to work most weekends as required by the trading pattern of the boutique.
