Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to work within our finance team but to specifically work from the production site.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the ‘Production plan’ working closely with the Production teams in the UK and overseas to understand the status of each drop to allow the correct accounting to be applied.
- Stock accounting:
- Own Standard costing sheets for all Drops
- Own the month end stock reconciliation between ERP and the warehouse management system. Understand variances and investigate
- Track WIP (work in progress) valuation and monitor raw material consumption vs. theoretical usage
- Ensure Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) accuracy and analyse variance analysis impact on margins
- Produce Artist returns for all agreed payment shares between Heni and the artist
- Invoice reviews and approvals:
- Review of and approval of stock related invoices
- Review of and approval of warehouse subcontractor costs including correct rates and project allocation
- Work closely with finance team in UK
The ideal candidate profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with proven experience in manufacturing accounting (minimum 3-5 years) with demonstrated expertise in production costing and cost allocation methodologies
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced Excel skills for complex cost calculations and modelling
