We are looking for an experienced sourcing and procurement specialist to support a private client of HENI on a residential project in London, working on a freelance basis. The client is acting as their own creative director, and we need someone exceptional at making their vision a reality. This is a purely logistical and executional role — the creative direction is set.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing materials, fabrics, fixtures, and furniture to precise briefs and mood boards.
- Leveraging trade relationships to access London and UK suppliers and securing trade pricing.
- Tracking orders, managing lead times, and coordinating deliveries around the main contractor's schedule.
- Organising samples (tiles, paints, finishes) for client sign-off.
- Maintaining detailed budget spreadsheets across all interior costs.
You Are:
- Highly organised and detail-driven, with a strong network of London and UK suppliers, makers, and trades.
- A skilled collaborator who thrives on executing a clear vision — and you have no interest in imposing your own.
- Formal project management experience is useful but not essential; what matters most is that people who work with you know you as someone who never drops the ball.
Important:
This role does not involve creative direction. The client leads all design decisions. We are looking for someone who sees that as a feature, not a limitation. You will be able to travel to London and be flexible with time.
