Job Description
At Hendy Southampton/Renault, Dacia, Alpine & Nissan we are looking for a driven and experienced Used CarSales Manager who willbe responsibleformanaging a fast paced and dynamicUsedsales department, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets whilst ensuring all colleagues deliver outstanding customer service.
You will work alongsideother Managers and Directors to ensure the above is achieved and deliver 100% positive customer experience, guaranteeing loyalty and advocacy.
The Opportunity:
In the Used CarSales Manager role, you will:
- Build a team where our vision of providing 100% satisfaction to our colleagues and customers is shared as well as cultivating trusted,skilledand appreciated team players.
- Balance the growth of the business by providing a positive and cohesive environment for your Team. Provide clearobjectivesthat work towards the department goals and our Vision and Values. Provide this along with support, coaching and proactive management training and compliance requirements, which willultimately optimiseperformance and ability.
- Dedicate time to perform regular reviews, critiques, and appraisals on your Team,regardingtheir performance,well-beingand attitude. To deliveroptimumlevels of performance and ability.
- Set budgets in conjunction with available resources and form action plans to ensure success and sufficient communication across the Team. Provideaccurateandtimelymanagement information, including flash and cashflow forecasts and debtor informationin order toprovide the Operational Director with reports and evaluation whenrequired.
- Provide, measure, and review key performance information with your team and through effective management ensure maximum add on sales are made and that all profit opportunities are optimised and to exceed customer expectations by understanding their needs.
- Ensure 100% positive customer experience, secure well-presented relevant and merchantable vehicles and ensure that all stock management disciplines are in place. All vehicles offered for demonstration and sale must meet the preparation standards laid down by the Group and manufacturer. Maintain stock levels in line with working capital targets/objectives.
