We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Partner to do just that, within a dedicated business area partnering with key stakeholders to drive the people plan that aligns to the group wide people and organisational strategy. In this role you will influence, shape and drive change within a rapidly evolving industry. Reporting to the Head of People, you will join a forward-thinking and collaborative team, developing and implementing people solutions applying a consultative and commercial approach. From performance management, reward and talent management, through to wellbeing and colleague engagement, this is a truly generalist role delivering excellence in people management practice.

This role will be aligned to our West business area (Dorset, Hampshire & Wiltshire) therefore we are flexible on base location. As a requirement of the role, frequent travel will be required to fulfil the needs of our multi-site organisation.

About You

If you’re looking to develop your career by broadening and deepening your people management experience this is the ideal opportunity for you. You’ll be a generalist with a proven track record of delivery in a matrix organisation and be able to demonstrate extensive business partnering experience, preferably within a complex, multi-site organisation. Experience in the development of reward initiatives and resource management would be advantageous, in addition to proven experience in change management. Considering the nature of the role, you will have a sound understanding of employment legislation and demonstrable experience of its effective implementation and will use your natural ability to coach and build relationships with colleagues, managers and business leaders.

You will be a proactive individual with organisational skills, who can remain calm under pressure and with the ability to balance a varied and busy workload that includes project work. Confidence in using Excel to analyse, and interpret data is going to be required, with the ability to present management information adapting your style to varying audiences. This roles requires resilience and agility to enable you to work successfully within a fast-paced environment.

We’d love for you to bring your experience of another service-related industry to Hendy, therefore automotive industry knowledge is not a pre-requisite. An individual who has a passion for learning and seeks continuous improvement will thrive in our exciting and growing business.
