The Opportunity: This is a varied, practical role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our dealerships safe, compliant and operating at their best – supporting colleagues, customers and the wider business through high‑quality maintenance and repair work.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across Hendy Group properties
- Identifying faults or risks early and taking swift, effective action
- Ensuring mechanical and electrical equipment is safe, compliant and fully operational
- Supporting facilities upgrades and liaising with third‑party contractors
- Championing strong health & safety standards at every site

Hendy Induction – please be advised that any new starters joining the business from the 1st June will, in their first week, be expected to attend a structured induction programme that will involve 2 days at our training academy in Portsmouth. More details will be shared at interview.
About You: You’re practical, organised and comfortable working independently across multiple sites. You take pride in doing a job properly, spot issues before they escalate, and understand the importance of safety, compliance and teamwork in a busy operational environment. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in property, facilities or building maintenance
- Strong awareness of health & safety and COSHH requirements
- Experience in carrying out like‑for‑like plumbing and electrical tasks
- Basic mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capability
- Good planning and organisational skills
