We are looking for a SMART Repair Supervisor to join our newly created Bodyshop in Southampton (Ford, Leigh Road).

The role is a semi-productive position, combining hands-on technical repair work with supervisory responsibilities to support operational performance, customer satisfaction and team productivity.

The SMART Repair Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining exceptional repair standards, organising workflow, supporting colleagues and ensuring repairs are completed within agreed timescales while adhering to company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.

The Opportunity:

As a SMART Repair Supervisor, you will:

  • Coordinate and prioritise the daily SMART Repair workload, allocating jobs effectively to maximise productivity, meet customer deadlines and achieve operational targets.
  • Carry out high-quality SMART repairs across a range of vehicles, including paint refinishing, cosmetic damage repair, alloy wheel refurbishment, and minor accident damage repairs.
  • Assess vehicle damage, determine appropriate repair methods, and produce accurate repair estimates, ensuring all materials, labour and repair requirements are identified before work begins.
  • Monitor repair progress, manage workflow challenges, and liaise with management and colleagues to ensure efficient planning, resource allocation and timely completion of work.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance, support and coaching to team members, promoting high standards of workmanship, teamwork and continuous development.
  • Maintain current technical knowledge and apply approved repair techniques, products and equipment in line with manufacturer, company and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, maintaining a safe, organised and professional working environment at all times.

About You:

  • Bodyshop or SMART Repair experience (essential);
  • The ability to offer a high-volume fast-paced service whilemaintainingexceptional standards;
  • Experience preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, using all the latest products and equipment;Attention to detail is Key
  • Excellent working knowledge of paint mixing, repairs, masking, painting,polishingand alloy wheel refurbishment;
  • A flexible and โ€˜can doโ€™ approach to work;
  • The ability to work on your own initiative;
  • A full UK driving licence.
