We are seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to support and maintain IT systems, infrastructure, and end-user services within a fast-paced SME environment. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support, manage core systems, liaise with third-party suppliers, and help improve IT security, resilience, and service delivery. This role offers a high level of autonomy and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and Group / HQ IT teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1st & 2nd line IT support to users
- Support and administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP
- Manage Microsoft 365 user administration
- Maintain networks, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls
- Support endpoint deployment, patching, and asset management
- Assist with cybersecurity controls, audits, and documentation
- Liaise with third-party IT and telecoms providers
- Support ERP/NAV user access and connectivity (desirable)
- Essential: Proven IT support or infrastructure experience (SME preferred)
- Strong Windows 10/11 and Windows Server knowledge
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, VPN)
- Confident supporting non-technical users
- Desirable: Dynamics NAV / Business Central experience
- UniFi networking experience
- PowerShell scripting
- Exposure to IT security frameworks or audits
