We are working with a highly respected national and international aviation organisation, recognised as a market leader in business aircraft maintenance and support. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced B1 Aircraft Engineer to join their elite engineering team in the South East. This is a senior, high-profile role working on prestigious business aircraft in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, offering outstanding earning potential, stability, and long-term career progression.
The Role
- Troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and scheduled aircraft maintenance
- Completion of tasks in line with approved maintenance data and work schedules
- A & D checks, pre- and post-servicing activities
- Supervising and mentoring mechanics and junior engineers
- Liaising directly with customers regarding technical queries, quotes, and requests
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Aircraft & Environment
- Business aviation / corporate aircraft environment
- Bombardier types including CL350 and CL604 (ideal)
- Exposure to other high-end business aircraft types
- Modern facilities, tooling, and strong engineering support
About You
- UK CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1)
- Familiarity with Part-145, Part-M, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Minimum 6 months relevant aircraft maintenance experience within the last 2 years
- Bombardier BD700 type rating (B1 / B2) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Human Factors, EWIS, and CDCCL
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and manuals
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Competent using standard and specialist tooling and ground support equipment
