The client is a small, established family‑owned regulated children’s residential care provider based in Nottinghamshire, operating nine children’s homes. Recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the client offers a nurturing and therapeutic environment for children aged 5‑17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

We are currently seeking a Senior Support Worker to join an established dedicated team at a home where three children currently reside in a beautiful detached rural property. The home is looking to add an additional child and requires additional staff.

We’re looking for an individual who can act as a therapeutic parent, providing high levels of care, support, and stability to help children achieve outstanding outcomes.

About The Role
  • Provide therapeutic care for children aged 8‑14.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and aspirational team.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a regulated children’s residential home.
  • Ideally with Level 3 QCF in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience with EBD and trauma‑informed approaches (PACE/DDP desirable).
  • Strong communication and literacy skills.
Training & Development
  • Full training provided, 2‑week induction and also includes QCF Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications.
  • Career progression opportunities to Deputy Manager/Manager roles.
  • 1:1 supervision and group sessions with the home’s therapist.
