Our client, a leading Design & Build contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on non-infrastructure projects within clean and wastewater treatment works, with opportunities for flexible hybrid working from locations in Warrington, Preston, or Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver civil design for non-infra water and wastewater projects, including treatment works, pumping stations, and CSOs.
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEICA, process, and structural engineers.
- Engage with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure practical design delivery.
- Provide input across feasibility, outline, and detailed design stages.
Job Requirements:
- Strong background in the UK water sector, particularly with AMP frameworks.
- Proven experience in non-infra projects, with a focus on treatment works.
- Proficiency in civil design principles and relevant software, such as Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
- Comfortable working in a Design & Build environment with fast-paced delivery expectations.
- Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week in Warrington, Preston, or Leeds.
