The Role:

Reporting directly to the PR & Communications Director, the Senior Brand Partnership & Communication Manager will be a pivotal force in amplifying our brand awareness and cultivating passionate global fandom. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative marketing, pushing boundaries and injecting the dynamism of Formula E into the broader cultural landscape. You\’ll be empowered to identify and seize moments that matter, taking our sport to new audiences through bold, creative, and impactful activations and communications. If you\’re a relentless optimist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for making the impossible happen, this is your chance to make a significant impact on a global stage.

  • Strategic Amplification: Collaborate with the PR & Communications Director, and the wider marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive brand amplification strategy focused on leveraging cultural moments and broader events to elevate Formula E\’s awareness and salience.
  • Cultural Hijacking & Activation Champion: Identify relevant cultural trends, events, and emerging moments, developing creative and impactful activation and communication plans to authentically integrate Formula E into these spaces, generating significant noise and earned media while amplifying brand partnership activations.
  • Driver Engagement & Profile Building: Work closely with your comms and content colleagues and the Formula E Teams and Drivers to identify and cultivate opportunities that showcase our driver personalities and build deeper emotional connections with our target audience, increasing their individual profiles and overall fan engagement.
  • Lifestyle Media Relations: Develop strong relationships with lifestyle, entertainment, music, and fashion media to secure impactful coverage and build a robust network of key media contacts. Stay ahead of media trends and identify emerging influencers and platforms.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of bold and innovative brand amplification campaigns that break through the traditional motorsport echo chamber, reaching target audiences in culturally relevant and compelling ways.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with Formula E Teams, Drivers, and their representatives. Cultivate and nurture relationships with key lifestyle, entertainment, music, and fashion media.
  • Team Leader: Lead and mentor a team, driving their success and development while fostering collaboration and high performance.

What we\’re looking for in you:

  • Impactful Brand Champion: Significant experience in brand marketing, communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and executing impactful brand amplification campaigns.
  • Lifestyle Communications Activator : Demonstrable experience in lifestyle communications, stunts, and/or activations, ideally within a challenger brand environment.
  • Cultural Landscape Acumen: A deep understanding of the cultural landscape, including trends in music, fashion, entertainment, and emerging digital platforms.
  • High-Profile Relationship Builder: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with high-profile individuals, including athletes and celebrities.
  • Strong Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, energetic, and highly positive \”can-do\” attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to make the impossible happen.
  • Proven Leadership: Experience in managing and guiding a team.
