We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced Aerodynamicist to lead one of our development teams.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To lead a team that is responsible for concept design, tunnel tests, CFD tests, other forms of research, reporting and consideration of all aerodynamic data for future developments.
  • Take the lead in coordinating all aerodynamic development within the group in line with the aerodynamic strategy of the senior management group of the Aerodynamics department.
  • Act as a role model for all in the development team and inspire them in everything they do.
  • Develop the human resources of the group.
  • Instil among team members the continual desire to improve productivity, quality and accuracy of work.

Essential Competencies:

  • Extensive experience of F1 Aerodynamic development at the highest level
  • A proven track record of successful design implementation with a good grasp of the practical challenges involved
  • A thorough understanding of the requirements of overall car performance
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
