Overview
Hafod is proud to offer our care colleagues a fantastic development opportunity. As part of a continuous review of how to improve the services we offer to our residents, Hafod care colleagues can develop their skills and knowledge through this work-based learning and study course with our training provider, Acute Training.
The Nursing care assistant training programme enables colleagues to gain a new career pathway into care by enhancing and developing clinical skills. Participants will benefit from supervision and support from registered nurses, and gain new competencies alongside increasing their confidence by using these new skills in the work environment with the assistance of the wider clinical team.
What you need to know
The programme starts 3 November 2025 and will consist of five sessions over 3 weeks. Participants must be aware of all dates listed and attend every session to pass the course.
