We\’re creating a brand-new Compliance and Health & Safety Operative team at Hafod. As part of our mission to connect with our customers and get the basics right, we are looking for people who can bring operational excellence to our sites through their technical capabilities and desire to make the safety of our customers a top priority.

These roles will take responsibility for ensuring our sites comply with Health and Safety requirements and undertake compliance testing. This will includefire safety checks, legionella checks and everything in between. You’ll help make sure we meet all the right standards and more importantly, help keep people safe.

Our team will be working together across the south Wales region to support the wide range of Hafod\’s care homes and schemes across Bridgend, RCT, Torfaen, Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran etc. Although each role will be assigned a geographical area, the overall expectation for team members is a willingness to work together responding to the needs of the business as they arise.

This role is a permanent full-time position working 36hrs per week. Suitable candidates will have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle with suitable business class insurance. What you\’ll do
You will assist in delivering compliance checks to our estates and properties, such as:
Fire alarm testing
Equipment inspections
Legionella checks (flushing and temperatures)
Portable appliance testing
External estates inspections, etc.

What you\’ll need
You will be able to complete daily tasks to ensure that our properties and estates are kept to the highest standards. Building strong relationships and working in partnership with our colleagues on site to ensure that the whole team can deliver to regulatory standards. To succeed in this role, you will have a basic understanding of IT, and training will be provided in the use of Hafod\’s systems and databases.
