Overview
Hendra Holiday Park is a 5* family-run holiday park in Newquay, Cornwall. We host holiday homes, touring and camping holidays, and onsite facilities including the Oasis Fun Pool, soft play centre, activities, play areas, an entertainment venue and three eateries. We offer a range of employee perks and a friendly, creative team delivering a 5* service to our guests. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week) with some weekend work.
We are looking for a creative, confident and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our team. The role provides opportunities to get involved and develop marketing skills alongside our award-winning park and Newquay Rocks Family Activity Centre (opening Spring 2026).
What you’ll do
- Plan, create and edit content for our social media channels.
- Respond to direct messages, comments and posts in our guest group.
- Support the marketing team with campaigns.
- Host competitions and giveaways on our social media channels.
- Keep up to date with social media trends and scout and organise influencer visits.
- Assist the team in design tasks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Provide support with events.
About you
- Organised, proactive and happy to take initiative.
- Confident in creating fun and engaging content.
- Enthusiastic about learning and growing in a creative role.
- 1-2 years experience in a marketing role.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in marketing or social media is preferred, but a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn are important.
