Are you passionate about gymnastics, child development, and leading a fun, energetic team? Balance & Beam is looking for an inspiring Head Coach & Programme Director to lead their exciting children’s recreational gymnastics programmes for ages 4 months to 12 years.
Job Description
- Plan, deliver, and review engaging gymnastics and child development sessions
- Lead by example, coaching children, supporting parents, and mentoring your coaching team
- Develop and manage lesson plans using the RISE coaching portal
- Ensure sessions are fun, safe, and tailored to each age group
- Manage, train, and inspire your team of senior, assistant, and junior coaches
- Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding across all programmes
- Communicate clearly with parents and staff, keeping progress records up to date
Qualifications
- Strong experience in children’s gymnastics coaching and programme design
- Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education (or equivalent)
- BG Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2 or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training
- Enhanced DBS check required
