South Essex Gymnastics Club is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. Hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
About the Role
- The successful applicant will work within our Women’s Artistic programme, supporting gymnasts across a range of levels in a positive and athlete-centred environment.
- You will collaborate with an experienced coaching team to help deliver high-quality training.
- Must hold a Women’s Artistic Level 2 British Gymnastics qualification. (General Gymnastics Level 2 applicants may also be considered.)
- Previous experience coaching in a club, school, or local authority setting.
- Ability to coach and manage a group of gymnasts while taking direction from Head Coaches / Director of Coaching.
- High level of enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be flexible – hours may occasionally vary to support club events, displays, or competitions.
- Must be available to coach at least one day during the weekend.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Additional Expectations
- Support club events such as shows, competitions, or activities held at SEGC or external venues, which may fall outside regular coaching hours.
- Maintain high coaching standards and contribute positively to the culture and values of South Essex Gymnastics Club.
