We are currently looking for an experienced Content Designer to join a large Microsoft 365 Copilot programme within the Higher Education sector. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile digital enablement initiative focused on improving how academic and professional services teams adopt and utilise AI-powered tools across Teaching & Learning environments.
Working closely with Human-Centred Design specialists and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for creating clear, engaging and user-focused content that supports adoption, learning and real-world use of Microsoft Copilot tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop clear, user-centred content, guidance and enablement materials
- Create digital content including guides, walkthroughs, toolkits and learning resources
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, practical and accessible content
- Help create coherent user journeys and experiences across multiple content touchpoints
- Work closely with UX, Human-Centred Design and stakeholder teams
- Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout
- Use feedback and user insight to continuously improve content
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven background as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Content Strategist or similar
- Strong understanding of User-Centred / Human-Centred Design principles
- Experience creating digital guidance, enablement or learning content
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience working alongside User Researchers, Service Designers or UX teams
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive content design (WCAG)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Copilot or AI-enabled tools
- Experience within Higher Education, Public Sector or large complex organisations
- Experience participating in or running user testing sessions
- Portfolio/examples demonstrating user-centred content thinking
